Kareen Alcocer is chosen as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for Elementary Schools. Kareen is the Librarian at Ramona Elementary School and has worked for Hemet USD for 4 years. Kareen is a quiet presence whose creativity makes the library come to life for all Ramona students. With high-interest books and hands-on activities, she engages students' interest, imagination, and curiosity. Kareen has made the Ramona school library 21st century ready. She has made the library the place students go on Mondays to engage in Makerspace STEM activities. Additionally, Kareen enthusiastically coordinated the school Spelling Bee and continually seeks opportunities to ignite the spark in students to read, write, and become future authors. In this pursuit, Kareen has organized high-interest events presented by published authors. Thank you for your dedication to our students Kareen.
