Mrs. Mekel Bromley was selected as the Faculty Focus Friday for elementary schools. Mekel is a fourth grade teacher at Hemet Elementary and was integral in helping lead and design many of the school’s starting processes ranging from school-wide award certificates and the AVID logo. Mekel has served on the inaugural site leadership team, she is the STEAM lead, helped all grade levels implement Project Lead the Way, and created the monthly family STEAM projects and the first STEAM family night planned for the new year. She also co-leads the Student Council and is a model for how to ensure student-teacher relationships are positive and supportive. Thank you Mekel for making a difference every day at Hemet Elementary!
