Little Lake Elementary Roller Coaster STEAM Projects

Little Lake Elementary's 4th-grade students study physics by designing marble roller coasters. During the month of May, Little Lake Elementary participates in Marble Month. Students learn marble games and problem-solving skills through collaboration and teamwork. This week, 4th-grade students are creating marble roller coasters from any item they can find in their classrooms.  Students will then view each classroom's projects and vote for a winner. "It's amazing what students can create with a roll of duct tape, a few foam tubes and BBQ skewers." Jason Ax, Lead Teacher. The one requirement for each project was that it had to have a working loop. Supporting the students are teachers Julie Lansing, Bonnie Holland, Nicole Snyder, and Jason Ax.
