Congratulations to Ms. Terri Tavares, HUSD’s Faculty Focus Friday employee for elementary schools. Ms. Tavares is the Office Manager at Bautista Creek Elementary School and has been working within the district for 26 years, all of which have been at Bautista Creek! She is nicknamed “Mama Bear” as she is always dedicated to her job of ensuring that students, families, staff, and our community feel a sense of family that Bautista Creek is known for. One of the best highlights for Terri is that her grandchildren currently attend Bautista Creek.
