Star Stevenson, Librarian at Rancho Viejo Middle School, was chosen as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for middle schools. Star has assisted with distributing textbooks, Chromebooks, helping with the front desk duties, and continuing to support students and parents with issues involving their Chromebook since the pandemic began. She assists with make-up testing and communicates with the site’s administration team and teachers to help reach students that need to complete their test. Star is always willing to help her fellow coworkers, staff, and teachers with anything that needs to be done for students, parents, and the community. She also created a Library Newsletter in which she continues to encourage students to read, reminds students to update their Chromebooks, and provides fun activities for students to do surrounding literature.
