SAFE Expanded Learning Program is proud to recognize Tutoring Group 1 for Faculty Focus Friday. Group 1 is co-facilitated by Ashley Galindo and Karie Heier. Classroom Activity Specialist Heather Burdick, Samantha Salas, Paula Stoltenberg, Jody Helter, and Brittany Linares complete the tutoring team. Group 1 has been true champions for the virtual tutoring program. They have implemented a quality tutoring program by building lasting relationships with students that support their social-emotional needs and academics. Outside of tutoring, Group 1 was instrumental in identifying the need for social-emotional learning to be structured into the SAFE Virtual Program which led to the start of the SAFE Student Engagement Lounge and Wacky Wednesday Virtual Activities.
