Ms. Deborah Small was selected to be the Faculty Focus Friday employee for HUSD. Lucy Dressel, Director of Risk Management, said she chose Ms. Small because she understands the importance of taking care of others. Deborah works directly with HUSD employees during the worker's compensation process to provide guidance and support. When employees need accommodations both for worker's compensation and personal needs, she is instrumental in coordinating the necessary meetings while documenting the process and next steps. She has helped many employees in their time of need and she is deserving of this recognition.
