Kelly Walters, the Academy of Innovation’s math department chairperson, was chosen as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for alternative sites. Kelly is a dynamic and flexible teacher and has been instrumental in designing online and in-person math classes at the school. In addition, she has also been working on expanding the site’s STEM program by offering RC Car building and design as an elective. Finally, Mrs. Walters has taken a leadership role for WASC by helping to showcase AOI programs. Kelly truly represents the qualities that make AOI a great place for students and staff.
