Faculty Focus Friday for Elementary Schools

Brenda Browen has been teaching in our school district since 2000 at various school sites and has served at Hemet Elementary School since it opened in 2017. In her first year at Hemet El, she started working as a first-grade teacher. She then served as a Reading Intervention teacher for the following two years. She taught kindergarten last year and is currently serving as our Reading Specialist. Brenda has served on Leadership for multiple years and helped with the Kind Girls Club when we had it. This school year, she led our Jumpstart program over the summer, is currently serving as our ISF Coordinator, Co-Chairs the Run Club, and is part of our Leadership Team.

One of the things we appreciate most about Brenda is her willingness to roll up her sleeves and get things done. We have had the opportunity to observe her work with students and staff during the Jumpstart Program, serving as the SST Coordinator, and as our Reading Specialist.  She has a natural ability to lead and this is in great part to her relationship-building skills.  She takes the time to know the staff and students that she works with and treats every one of them with respect.

We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Browen as part of our team.  Go Eagles!
