Dear HUSD Families and Staff,
As a follow-up to our communication on Friday, we want to inform you that all schools will reopen tomorrow, Monday, September 12, 2022. After communicating with emergency responders and fully assessing fire-related factors impactful to school operations and safety, we have been able to confirm that it will be safe to reopen.
We hope that the reopening of schools comes as good news to you and your family. Sadly, we anticipate that there will be a period of continued hardships throughout our community, due to the significant loss and destruction caused by the fire. If you need support, please contact our Wellness and Community Outreach Center.
We are glad to be reopening and truly look forward to the return of our students.
