Dana Mitchell has been chosen as the HUSD Staff Spotlight for the Academy of Innovation. As the AOI attendance clerk, Dana ensures that our staff follows through with all we need to do to support our in-person and virtual students. She makes sure that we complete all of our documentation as an independent study school for both our district and for state audits. Dana helps students and families from kindergarten to grade 12. She comes to work every day with a bright smile and makes everyone feel welcome and connected to our site.
Dana, AOI would not be the success it is without your kind and firm prodding to make sure that students are connected to their learning. We always look forward to coming to see you because of your positivity (and your candy)!
