Mrs. Estrella has worked as a Library Tech at Cottonwood for over thirty years. Mrs. Estrella is definitely a “STAR” employee. She is an amazing educator that is willing to support scholars in any way needed. She not only works as our Media Tech keeping a beautiful library for our scholars but she does everything necessary to engage our scholars in reading.
For years she has facilitated our Read Across America Week and helps to create connections with our families with our annual Family Reading Night each year. An amazing event where our families are entertained with a dramatic reading from books that delight everyone. She has even begun to support our Walk To Learn Team.
Mrs. Estrella is undeniably an amazing educator that is an integral part of our Cottonwood family and part of what makes Cottonwood a wonderful place for students & staff. Congratulations to Mrs. Estrella on this well-deserved recognition!
