Ms. Jennifer Martin, Principal, Valle Vista Elementary School, would like to honor Aida Sandoval, Counselor at Valle Vista and Cawston elementary schools.
Ms. Martin has nominated Mrs. Sandoval for a Good Apple award for her extraordinary service to the students of Valle Vista. One of the students suffered the devastating loss of her father due to an automobile accident before Winter break. During the break, Ms. Sandoval took a personalized birthday cake to that student’s home and sang happy birthday to her along with the student’s family. That’s just one example of the types of things she does to improve the lives of her students.
More recently, Valle Vista staff arranged to cook breakfast at Valley Restart Shelter. Mrs. Sandoval was instrumental in arranging for some of the students to plan and execute crafts and activities, and collect donations for the children residing at the shelter.
Ms. Martin exclaims that Mrs. Sandoval is one of the best “apples” she has had the pleasure to work alongside. It is with great appreciation that I present you with this Good Apple Award. Thank you so much your dedicated service to the students of Hemet Unified School District.
