West Valley High School softball coach, Rose Aiken, celebrated a tremendous achievement at the beginning of March. West Valley’s victory against Lake Elsinore was Coach Aiken’s 100th career win with West Valley High School.
Athletic Director of West Valley, Kathleen Alvarez said, “This is a testament to her dedication to our great school and the West Valley softball program.”
On Thursday, April 8, 2016, Coach Aiken was recognized before the home softball game. During the pre-game ceremony, she was presented with a commemorative jersey and a banner from her team and assistant coach. Statements of appreciation from her student-athletes were also read during the ceremony.
