Rancho Viejo Middle School had a lot to celebrate after the fall sports season was over. Their flag football team were league champions, the girls’ volleyball team made it to the championship game, and many of the cross country student-athletes set new personal bests. In honor of all of the accomplishments this season, staff hosted a banquet for the fall student-athletes.
The banquet included a celebration of accomplishments for Flag Football, Girls’ Volleyball, and Cross Country. Ninety-five athletes were recognized and nearly 200 family members joined the festivities. The banquet was a time for staff to recognize the teams and individual players. Four athletes were recognized at the event for being the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for their team.
Staff wanted to create an event that recognized the hard work and dedication the students showed throughout the season. This is the third year middle schools have had a sports program and staff is thrilled!
