High School Art Competition

High School students throughout the Hemet and San Jacinto valley recently competed in the 2nd annual Art for Youth Competition. All of the contestant’s artwork will be displayed at the Hemet Valley Art Association Art Gallery throughout the month of April.

The art competition was open to all high school aged students throughout the valley. Students had to enter original works of art in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, ink or pastel. Each high school was able to submit five works of art to be considered by the Hemet Valley Art Association. This event allowed students to showcase their art and share their hard work with the community. Students who placed also received a cash reward: first place received $500, second place received $250, third place - $100, and fourth - $50.

Congratulations to all of the students who participated!
