Maura Trujillo was selected as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for alternative schools. Maura is a math teacher at Western Center Academy. She blends AVID strategies, projects, and group work into her curriculum to further engage her students. She is also the high school testing coordinator, managing Advanced Placement (AP) and Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium (SBAC) exams. In addition to her classroom duties, she also leads the school’s ASB club, which includes creating spirit activities, dances, and more. Thank you Maura for being a key member at Western Center Academy and for providing a positive and engaging learning environment for the students.
