Natalie Ruddell Recognized as Administrator of the Year

Dr. Natalie Ruddell, Coordinator of Digital Learning and Innovation, was recently recognized as the Administrator of the Year by the Riverside County Association of Educational Office Professionals (RCAEOP). Ruddell was selected due to the dedication and professionalism she shows every day.

Ruddell is celebrating her 20th year at Hemet Unified. She began as a teacher at Winchester Elementary School, was an Assistant Principal at Rancho Viejo Middle School, and moved into the Educational Services Department at the district office. Ruddell said her goal throughout her many positions within the district is to support students and their families.

Ruddell has been described in many ways by her colleagues: passionate, concise, logical, organized, and thoughtful, but her greatest strength is her commitment to building strong and effective relationships. Aside from the tremendous work ethic Ruddell displays, her passion and commitment to building positive relationships within Hemet Unified have been instrumental in her work. Rancho Viejo Middle School Principal, Jonathan Workman, said, “Dr. Ruddell does not just show up to the job, but rather she is compassionate and persistent with all stakeholders around the idea of teamwork to ensure student achievement.”

“I find that the best part of my day is when I can be of service to others,” said Ruddell.

We congratulate you on your recognition, and thank you, Dr. Ruddell, for your commitment to the overall growth of Hemet Unified and the students we serve.
