Budget and Financial Reports

Hemet Unified School District adopts its annual budget each June, establishing the framework for the district’s financial planning and operations. Throughout the fiscal year, the Fiscal Services team prepares several critical reports to ensure transparency and compliance with state and federal requirements. Interim reports are prepared twice a year, reflecting revisions to the adopted budget based on updated projections for revenues and expenditures. The Unaudited Actuals report, presented after the fiscal year ends, provides a detailed account of final revenues and expenses, pending any audit adjustments. The Annual Financial Audit report, available each December, offers a comprehensive review of the prior fiscal year’s financial activities and audit findings. Miscellaneous expenditure reports, as required by state or federal law, are also developed and made publicly available to ensure accountability and transparency.
