Student Information & Accountability

In 2015, California first administered a new student assessment of college/career ready achievement standards, the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The assessments are designed to provide information about student performance on the new State Standards, based on California State Standards adopted in 2010.  The CAASPP, which replaced the Standardized Testing and Reporting, or STAR Program, is intended to provide information that can be used to monitor student learning and help students prepare for college or a career upon graduation.
