HUSD High School Graduation Requirements
High school graduation shall be contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the required number of credits units, the specified course requirements or standards, and the prescribed course of study. Graduation shall be recognized by the granting of a diploma by the Governing Board upon the recommendation of the school principal. The principal shall recommend for graduation from high school only those persons who have met the requirement as stated by the State Board of Education and the Governing Board of the Hemet Unified School District. No student shall participate in the graduation ceremony if he/she has not satisfied the graduation requirements for a diploma or for a Certificate of Completion.

Progress toward high school graduation shall be based on the student’s ability to pass the required subjects and electives necessary to earn the required number of credits. The current course requirements necessary to receive a diploma in the Hemet Unified School District are listed in the table below. |
