New Teacher/CTI Resources

Welcome New Teachers!

Whether you are new to teaching or new to the District we are happy to have you on the team! Starting your first year at a new school is always a busy time and we at the Professional Development Academy are excited to support you in a variety of ways:
  • New Teacher Orientation
  • Mentor Support
  • Participation in the Center for Teacher Innovation (CTI)
  • Ongoing Professional Development Opportunities

What is CTI?

For nearly 20 years, the Riverside County Office of Education has been a leader in new teacher support and development. Our Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) program has been one of the largest in the state and we have mentored over 22,000 teachers throughout the RIMS counties (Riverside, Inyo, Mono, and San Bernardino).

In response to a changing educational landscape and in response to teacher and leader feedback, we are pleased to announce a new name and a fully redesigned program, The Center for Teacher Innovation (CTI).
