Welcome to the Hemet USD School Climate Transformation and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support resource page for staff, students, parents and community members. The mission of our School Climate Transformation activities is to enhance the Cultural and Contextual relevance and support activities so that all students can successfully attend, achieve and leave our schools college and career ready. Driven by extensive research by Dr. Rob Horner (University of Oregon) , Dr. George Sugai (University of Connecticut), and the California Technical Assistance Center The District is currently beginning the second year of a full scale implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and opportunities to increase Student Voice through PLUS (Peer Leaders Uniting Students) and Restorative Practices.
