Elias Lopez was chosen as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for middle schools. He has been a physical education teacher at Acacia Middle School for seven years and has served as the Athletic Director for five years, Saturday School Coordinator and Soccer Head Coach for six years, and is currently serving his third year as Department Chair/Site Leader. One of the things Acacia staff appreciates most about Mr. Lopez is his management skills. He works with students during the soccer season, P.E. classes, and Saturday Schools, and it is impressive to see how students respond to him. He has a natural ability to lead and this is in great part to his relationship-building skills. He takes the time to know the students that he works with and treats every one of them with respect. Students under his supervision thrive and respect him because they know he cares. We are so fortunate to have Mr. Lopez as part of the Acacia team. Go Cougars!
