Katy Deardorff, West Valley’s Attendance Clerk, was selected as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for high schools. Katy organizes the Independent Study Program and Saturday School at West Valley High School. Given the recent challenges and sheer volume of requests that we have processed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Katy has risen to the challenge. She is a perfect example of what it means to be a team player through her commitment and dedication. Katy works tirelessly to make EVERYTHING the best it absolutely can be and takes pride in her work in these programs. She continually looks for ways to improve practices and ensure efficiency. She is a very patient and caring person and is a true asset to the West Valley team.
