HUSD is Grateful for its Employees of Excellence!

Lisa Wardle started working at Hemet Elementary last year, and in such a short time, her work has positively impacted teachers and students at our site. Lisa has worked diligently in putting together presentations for the staff dealing with Professional Development on PLC, Close Reading, Vertical Collaboration, Success Criteria, and Teacher Clarity. Each presentation has aligned with the gradual implementation of new instructional practices. She has also worked doing demo lessons, assessment creation, data tracking, co-planning, and teacher observations. One tool that has been effective in getting teachers to take advantage of her coaching has been her offering of The Achievement-Focused Coaching Cycle. Through this service, teachers and the instructional coach work collaboratively to set an instructional or student learning goal, make a plan, monitor progress, and then reflect on how well the plan supported the goal.

One of the things we appreciate most about Lisa is her willingness to roll up her sleeves and provide support wherever it is needed. She has served as a proctor during State Testing and taught the enrichment group during Walk to Learn.

We are so fortunate to have Lisa Wardle as part of our team. Go Eagles!
