Faculty Focus Friday Employee for Alternative Sites

Kristy Vineyard was chosen as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for Alternative Schools.  "Miss V," as the students refer to her, is a veteran district employee with over 19 years of service in Hemet Unified. She serves as an Instructional Aid (SH) at ASPIRE Community Day School and specializes in working with alternative education students. Miss V understands the importance of making connections with the students in order to build positive relationships. She brings a small gift for every student on their birthday as "It may be the only gift they receive."  Furthermore, Miss V acknowledges, "Alternative education can be tough; we just have to remember not to take things personally and that we are the adult.  In the end, the rewards of helping our kids far outweigh the challenges." Thank you Miss V for being a positive influence in the lives of the students on campus.
