Alessandro High School is proud to recognize the outstanding Instructional Aides who serve as the heartbeat of our Newcomer Academy: Aleyda Otanez, Sofia Pardo Liang, Mariela Persona, and Frances Ruiz. These educators do far more than assist; they provide a lifeline of opportunity for students who are new to our country and working hard to bridge credit gaps.
By forming quick, positive rapport and fostering a sense of belonging, they create a safe space for students to master the English language while working toward graduation. Whether they are differentiating content, leading small group sessions, or providing intensive one-on-one support, their expertise and heart are crucial to the success of our students and the entire Newcomer Academy.
