Tiffany Grant, Principal of Pleasant Valley

Principal’s Message

Welcome to Pleasant Valley Elementary School!

Welcome to Pleasant Valley Elementary, a brand-new school serving the Winchester community in the Hemet Unified School District opening its doors in August 2026! As a Visual and Performing Arts–focused campus, Pleasant Valley is grounded in a vision of arts-integrated excellence, where creativity will intentionally be woven into daily instruction to support academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and the development of future-ready skills. We are excited to begin this journey alongside our students and families as we build a vibrant learning community where creativity, connection, and academic excellence thrive together.

I am honored to serve as the founding principal of Pleasant Valley Elementary. I grew up in Riverside County and earned my teaching credential and Master’s in Education from the University of California, Riverside in 2006, beginning my career at Hamilton K–8 as a kindergarten and second grade teacher. I later earned a Master’s in Educational Administration from Concordia University and served as Assistant Principal at Hamilton K–8 and Little Lake Elementary before being promoted to Principal in 2020. These experiences, along with my work closely partnering with families and leading schoolwide initiatives, have shaped my commitment to building strong, connected school communities.

Beyond my work as an educator, my husband and I are raising two wonderful children, ages 11 and 6. We enjoy spending time together watching movies, crafting (drawing, painting, animating, creating cookie art), baking, reading, attending baseball games, and playing board games.

As both an educator and a parent, I am deeply committed to fostering a school culture where every student feels valued, connected, and supported. I believe strongly in the partnership between home and school and am dedicated to working collaboratively with families to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

I am especially excited about Pleasant Valley’s focus on visual and performing arts. Through my own children, I have seen firsthand how early exposure to the arts can inspire confidence, encourage self-expression, provide therapeutic benefits, and help children discover passions that shape who they become.

My door is always open. I warmly welcome your ideas, conversations, and partnership as we work together to Embrace, Educate, and Empower every student. I look forward to celebrating many successes together during our inaugural school year and beyond.

Sincerely,

Tiffany Grant
