👏👏Congratulations to our Division B Middle School Science Olympiad Teams for their success at the Inland Empire Regional Event earlier this month. 🏆

The two teams took home 12 medals 🏅 with teams placing 5th and 12th at Regionals earning them a spot at the State Event on April 11th at Cal Tech.

🧪🔬Science Olympiad is a premier national K-12 STEM competition in the United States focused on academic and engineering challenges. Students take rigorous tests in specialized areas of Astronomy, Biology, Ecology, and Code Cracking. In Build Events, students construct devices ahead of time to meet specific parameters in competition.

Each team consists of 15 6th - 9th graders. Western Center had two teams enter the competition, one with 14 members on the team and the other with only 10 in a field of 27 schools. Once again, Congratulations and Good Luck at State! 🦣
