A special congratulations to Joy Gordon has been chosen as HUSD's Friday Faculty Focus employee for elementary schools. Joy teaches Specialized Academic Instruction at Whittier Elementary School. She is incredibly hard-working, tireless in her efforts to meet the varied needs of her students, and not afraid to take risks to do so. Joy (who is so appropriately named!) values and exhibits the importance of building positive relationships with students. She is a true team player, showing great flexibility while collaborating with colleagues - keeping what's best for all students as the common goal. Whittier staff say they are thankful to have her as part of their PBIS Tier II Team. Thank you for all that you do Joy!
