Free vision screening, follow-up treatment, and eye glasses for preschool students were approved by the Hemet Unified School District Governing Board on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
Free vision screenings will be administered at all Hemet Unified preschool locations by Lions Club volunteers, working on behalf of Loma Linda University. If a student needs glasses or follow-up treatment, Loma Linda University will pay for the child to receive these services. Below are the dates vision screenings will be administered at the preschool sites:
May 18th: Little Lake Elementary
May 19th: Ramona Elementary
May 20th: McSweeny Elementary
May 23rd: Jacob Wiens Elementary
May 24th: Winchester Elementary
May 25th: Idyllwild, Valle Vista, Hamilton
