Monita Perez has been chosen as the Faculty Focus Friday employee for elementary schools. Monita, also known as Mona, is a third grade teacher at Jacob Wiens Elementary School. This year, she expanded her leadership role by taking on the ELD Lead Duties. Her dedication and passion for the English learners at Jacob Wiens is remarkable and is making a huge difference in the number of students being reclassified to English proficient.
