The district will assume the cost of one (1) repair of damaged mobile device per school year. In the event the mobile device is damaged beyond the first repair, the parent/guardian will be responsible for a flat cost of $50 per incident per device. The Hemet USD Information Technology Department staff will determine the appropriate repair/replacement action and arrange for repair or replacement. Hemet USD retains the right to electronically track the device at any time as appropriate to locate the device as needed. Chromebook will not boot up
 

To fix some Chromebook problems, you might need to reset your Chromebook hardware, also called a hard reset.Try a hard reset only after other ways to fix the problem have failed. It will restart your Chromebook hardware (like your keyboard and touchpad), and might delete some files in your Downloads folder.

Hard reset your Chromebook

For most Chromebooks, follow the steps below:

Turn off your Chromebook.Press and hold Refresh  + tap Power 
When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh .
