I really take pride in the fact that Hemet Unified School District is looking beyond the box. I take pride in my work with just, being able to create a program that helps support families and really building connections with kids. I love seeing when when they get passionate about the topic; they get interested; they do more research; they talk about it. We create these goals together and they're really excited when they get to accomplish them. I get a lot of support from my admin they're not telling me what to do they're asking me what I need support with. They make me feel empowered by listening to my voice when I can elevate a problem and they are in real time trying to solve that that makes me feel not only empowered but valued as an employee as a leader and I've heard that from my staff as well. You have someone that you know not only cares about student success but also about your success as a professional and how that impacts our community. I've participated in several things, this year alone, that help develop me as not just an educator, but a good staff member of any high school. But the one thing that I find with our district is that we invest in our employees and that there are so many avenues to just grow and different fields. Whichever site that I supported I always feel empowered by the principals, office team or whoever I was working with to continue growth, so if I were to be in one position one year and then go to a different one I always felt that I that there was support there for growth. They come in doing one thing and a lot of times our employees end up in a totally different department or different position because there's so many different areas within our district that can fit almost any personality or any gifts or Talent so I think just be open, it's great that you're here and we welcome our new employees. I can't imagine working for anywhere else.
