Hemet High School proudly recognizes Juliette Connell as its Employee of Excellence!
Juliette continues to be a cornerstone of Hemet High School. For many years, Madame Connell has served as our French teacher, also dabbling in teaching Spanish here and there. This year, she added to her plate by taking on the vital and multi-faceted position of ASB Director. Juliette jumped head first into this monumental role with incredible grace, dedication, and leadership, instantly earning the admiration of students and colleagues alike.
Beyond ASB, Juliette deeply impacts our campus culture by serving as the Equestrian Club advisor and leading the Care Closet - a crucial program that provides our HHS students in need with essential clothing, shoes, and hygiene products. Her unwavering devotion to supporting our students makes her truly deserving of the HUSD Employee of Excellence award!
Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage and sacrifice shown in the face of tragedy.
This morning, West Valley High School’s Navy JROTC held a commemorative ceremony in remembrance of that day. JROTC students led a dignified and moving service, joined by West Valley’s Mariachi group for a special musical tribute and a student performance of the National Anthem. Members of the Hemet Police Department were also in attendance.
We are grateful to our students and staff for creating a meaningful opportunity for our school community to reflect, remember, and honor all those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.
We will never forget.
