We are deeply grateful to receive the Carnegie Award for Impact from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. This recognition reflects seven years of focused, systemwide improvement to strengthen postsecondary readiness for all learners. We applied continuous improvement methods to increase graduation rates, expand pathway and A-G course completion, and improve college and career indicators. At the same time, we reduced dropout rates by aligning our efforts around what students need to succeed after high school.

Along with our fellow awardees, CORE Districts’ Breakthrough Success Community and Liberty Public Schools, we hope our work contributes practical lessons for communities striving to better prepare students for life beyond high school. https://cfdn.at/4trbcb4

Hemet High School Proudly Recognizes Dr. Christopher Watkins as Its Employee of Excellence

Hemet High is proud to honor Dr. Christopher Watkins as our Employee of Excellence for his exceptional leadership within the CTE Nursing Pathway. Dr. Watkins has done a phenomenal job expanding the program, transforming it into a premier training ground for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
