Open Enrollment will run April 29 - May 10, 2024 for an effective date of July 1, 2024.

Hemet Unified Employee Benefit offerings are one CORE package for all groups. Rates will be generated based on negotiated agreements in three categories:

Certificated employees are: Teachers, Counselors, Nurses, Speech Therapists and Psychologists
Classified employees are: Confidential, CSEA members and non-members, ROTC, and Preschool.
Management employees are: ALL management positions regardless of credential.
In addition to the CORE packages there are several voluntary plans available to the Hemet Unified staff.

***If adding dependents official documents must be submitted during the enrollment process. For spouse, you must provide a copy of the Marriage Certificate and for dependents a copy of Birth Certificate(s) or Court Documents at the time the application is submitted. Dependents cannot be enrolled without this information. Remember, you only have 30 days from the qualifying event to apply for or change your Benefits.

Benefits become effective the first working day of the month following your effective date of employment.
