Faculty Focus Friday- Mr. Richard Juarez

The staff at Fruitvale Elementary School would like to recognize Mr. Richard Juarez, School Psychologist. Richard is a positive force on campus, sharing his expertise, translating for our Spanish speaking families, and working collaboratively for the betterment of all students. Faculty Focus Friday- West Valley English Teacher Jennifer Baranov

Jennifer Baranov puts forth a tireless effort to support her students. She conducts study hall and tutoring daily and spends individual time with students to meet their needs. She also hosts the Equal club and makes all of her students feel valued and important. She attends most after-school activities, is present on campus many Saturdays, and promotes student’s involvement in activities. Reading Across America is celebrated all week by reading Dr. Seuss books and by having spirit days like crazy sock day or wacky hair day. On Friday the schools culminated the week of celebration by inviting district office officials, school board members, community leaders, and high school role models to share their passion and excitement for reading.
